What is collected?

Jot may collect the following information about requests made to this service:

• IP addresses of requests
• date and time of requests
• URI of requests

This information, generally speaking is not stored for long periods of time. However it may be stored longer term in log file backups for an indeterminate amount of time.

We may also collect information submitted by users, such as public keys and display names with key registration. Consider this information public.

Why is this information collected?

Request information is collected for purposes of system diagnostics and potentally for moderation actions. This information will never be shared with third-parties except as required by law.

The public key and display names are used to provide this service.
